Military Families ~ Phoenix Area Family Photographer

Phew!  Been a busy few weeks for me both with my photography and my 'big girl' job.  Finally I am getting a chance to blog these beautiful families!  I was contacted by a lovely woman and her siblings who wanted to do a big family shoot with all 5 siblings and their grandchildren for the matriarch of the family.  What a great idea!  It just so happened that they are a deeply military family, so I was more than excited for this shoot (If you're military, let me know, I love giving you guys discounts ;-) )

Anyways, there were SO many little cuties.  I think we ended up with 21 people total, and while the whole family shots were really challenging, I loved capturing this awesome family.  On to a few 'out-takes' and some of the individual little ones.  So Cute!!

Boy did Grandpa have his hands full when we tried for an 'all boys' shot!

She's going to grow up to be a heart breaker, look at those eyes!

 These little boys were COMPLETE angels.  Big brother was so good at posing and smiling, like a Pro!

This little one got a piece of candy at the end for being such a good girl.  Note the tiny pink fingers and guilty expression.  SO Adorable!!

Last Christmas Portraits of the year! ~ Phoenix Family Photographer

Cutting it close to the wire were the Felix Family, I did their family portraits the Saturday before Christmas!!  Apparently we weren't the only ones trying to squeeze in one last session, as there were DOZENS of other photographers at the same park, and we actually had to wait in line for some of the good spots!

But thankfully, this was an adorable family, and although we couldn't get 7 month old Chloe's attention all the time, their son was another story.  I didn't even have to coach him at all, he was a pro with a huge grin and a willing attitude the whole time :-)

Business is picking up! ~ Phoenix Family Photographer

It's the busy season for Family Portraits right now, and I am very lucky to be almost completely booked up for sessions that will be done in time to send Christmas Cards! 

I am hoping to book some more infant/baby portraits, so contact me if you are looking to set something up in the coming year.  I can't believe it's almost 2011!  Has this year gone as fast for you as it has for me?!?

Hide and Seek

Circus in Prescott!

On Sunday morning before we left Prescott, we just happened to come across a circus act that had invaded the town square, it was pretty cool! 











After all the excitement from the circus had died down, I put on my zoom lense and captured these little girls from across the park playing and dancing.  I just could not get over how cute they were!  The older girl's hair was just to die for!
